ABOUT ABOUT

Beautiful Feet Wellness has partnered with the Knox College Dance Department to bring you a dance and poetry concert that will raise a new awareness about human trafficking and support a new anti-trafficking non-profit called Beautiful Feet Wellness.

The event will include dance performances, poetry readings, a silent auction, awareness sparking presentations, and a panel talk-back session with the dancers and choreographers.

Proceeds from ticket sales, silent auction items, and donations will support Beautiful Feet Wellness.

More About Beautiful Feet Wellness:

Beautiful Feet Wellness provides fitness and wellness services free of charge to people coming out of human trafficking and the sex trade. The healing and restorative effects of fitness have been utilized as means of treating other mental and physical ailments, but never before have these aspects been fully applied to this unique population. Survivors face the aftermath of intense trauma and having their life/value revolve around what their body looks like and what they could do with it, and this first-of-its-kind organization seeks to help them reorient their brain and body as a key to the healing and empowerment process. The heart behind Beautiful Feet Wellness is encouraging people to move from surviving to thriving by discovering healing through fitness, self-care and appreciation, spiritual growth, and wellness practices.
